Backflow Testing - $40
Here in Oregon, it is required that homeowners test their backflow device every year. Backflow preventing devices are very important and testing will ensure that (possibly dirty) water from your sprinkler pipes do not travel back and contaminate the city’s drinking water supply. For example, some homes use herbicides and chemicals to control their plants, but these chemicals would be a disaster if they got into our clean water system. By checking your backflow yearly, you will be protecting not only your family but also the entire community.
If a backflow device has gone bad and/or is malfunctioning, we will be able to either repair or replace the backflow device (backflow parts can be expensive and a replacement can run a few hundred dollars). As always, we do not charge by the hour for service calls; give us a call and we will give you an exact estimate on how much the repair will cost before you decide if you want to hire us.
